On 9th September, 1946, a Mr. Burke coined the term 'bug'. They are our most vicious adversaries. They elude the best of developers. Quashing them is no mean feat. Our brethren earn their living by tracking them down and forcing us to arrange a dual. Here's to software developers and bug-free code!
This picture was clicked in Apr '08, somewhere in Himachal Pradesh. I now realize that the macro mode is meant exactly for such situations. *Sigh*. Noobdom of photography.
On a related note, the following line was seen on a T-shirt-
I kill bugs for a living.
Khuda Hafiz,
Sultan of Samarkand
Footnote- The author of this post loves bugs and termites. No creatures, living or dead, were harmed in any way whatsoever, in composing the artwork in this post. A bunch of electrons were severely inconvenienced. As of publishing this post, they are picketing in front of my desk asking for compensation.
