There's this guy at work who just left for a week long euro-trip with his wife - London, Paris and Switzerland - you know, the places they show in Bollywood movies where scantily clad white chicks foolishly indulge in random calisthenics along with our actors.
Just when he was leaving he said to someone, 'I want to fulfill all my middle-class dreams', and when inquired why he didn't want to save up for his kids, he exclaimed, 'If kids had to depend on their parents for their survival, what's the point in even having them?'
My respect for him just increased twenty-fold.

That's a rare comment from a middle class Indian. Wonder if it's coming out of modernization or plain desire to enjoy their own youth, not really compromising on their desires planning for 20 years in advance.
